Introduction
Lilia Efimova, an internationally-acclaimed online learning and blogging expert, conducted a blogging seminar at The METS Center in Northern Kentucky. The seminar was part of Lilia's recent multi-stop visit to the United States to participate in blogging seminars and blog walks. During her three hour seminar at The METS Center, Lilia discussed introductory topics including: the rationale and start-up process for blogging; blogging tools and related technologies; best practices; and business applications. Lilia's seminar also highlighted more advanced issues such as RSS, backtrack, blog-specific search engines, social bookmarks, blogviews, blogs and personal knowledge management and emergent blog communities. Lilia's seminar was sponsored by the Tri-State Knowledge Management Association.
